Your hairstyle greatly affects your overall appearance. Sometimes it is better to follow the trend than to be a trendsetter yourself when it comes to hairstyles. If you want to change the way you look, you should start with your hair. You can look at pictures of various male celebrities to give you an idea on what's in and hot. Read on to know the different hairstyles worn by male celebrities and how to choose the hairstyle that suits you best.
Hairstyles worn by male celebrities
There is the overgrown classic cut hairstyle which is the trademark of Pierce Brosnan and Mark Ruffalo. There are also lots of celebrities who sport long hair like Richie Sambora, Joe Jonas, and Ashley Parker. A curly hairstyle is also popular among many celebrities. Curly haired celebs include Adrian Grenier and Orlando Bloom.
How to choose the right men's hairstyle
when choosing a hairstyle, you should not just choose any type which you like. You also have to consider what suits you best. There are factors that you need to take into account when you choose a new hairstyle. One of these is the shape of your face. If you have a square face, a clean-cut style like that of Matt Damon, is a good choice. For those with a round face like that of Jack Black, the best hairstyle is a short one with the hair closer to the face. If you have a rectangular or oblong shaped face, like Eminem's, a layered cut is an excellent choice. there is also the triangular shaped face. This one is rare. We can cite Justin Timberlake as an example. Timberlake has a wide forehead and cheekbones and a pointed chin. For a face like this, a cropped hair close to head is an excellent hairstyle.
Your hairstyle will really affect your appearance. When choosing a hairstyle, you should not take into account how it fits the celeb sporting it. You have to envision yourself wearing that hairstyle and then choose it if you think it will accentuate your features.

I've been amazed by people who sport an Afro look. You know, that bulky kinky hair that looks so heavy on the head. I call it the Bob Marley hair. It looks so messy sometimes, but there are people who really look gorgeous with it. It has also become the standard hair for reggae-lovers. Reggae: a bouncy and exotic tune with matching Afro, curly, kinky hairstyle. I often see these people on Ambush Makeover, but usually they disagree with the change of hairstyle. I don't know if they love Bob Marley, but I'm sure they love their look.

If you wanna be unique from the usual clean and nice cut, why don't you try something new? Grow your hair and style it. You can also color it to add glow, and the most special treat for your hair is to curl it. Curl as in kinky -- like a telephone cord. Want more than that? Turn it into an Afro-look. You may look like a nonsense guy, but more heads will turn if you pass by. You can also flaunt your hair along with your new Fila sunglasses. So, don't hesitate and let go of your fear. Curl it, bro!

My friend recently asked me what turns me on the most. I said, if you're sexy then you don't have to ask questions anymore. What is sexy for you? I want messy and curly hair. The next day, that friend of mine had a new look with an untidy hair. I was curious what happened so I asked my friend. I just got a reply that said: "You said to be sexy so I'm giving my hair an Afro-look; Just wait, it takes time for all my hair to be kinky." However, the lesson here is if your face is not apt for an Afro-look, don't force it!

According to Logan Smith, there is more felicity on the far side of baldness than young men can possibly imagine. Sometimes, some of us resort to the aid of wigs and chemical hair growers just to save the mane that covers our heads. However, I think that despite the fact that there are many quick-fix solutions available in the market, accepting that your hair has to go is the best solution to deal with this not-so big problem.
Never run for cover: this is a very important rule if you want to be confident about hair loss. Concealing your head with hair extenders and wigs does not do the trick. And can you imagine your girlfriend running her hands through your hair, only to discover that it's not really a, uhm, hair? There are many stylish and hot guys who aren't afraid to flaunt their baldness like Michael Jordan, Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis, Taye Higgs, The Rock, and Xbox game characters.
Basketball players, military men, boxers, and even fashion models sport shaved heads these days. Shaved head looks clean, decent, hot, stylish, sharp, and orderly. Hair is not a right, it's a privilege that you'll have to let go if it wants to be free. And you're actually not losing your hair, uhm, you're just gaining face!

While I'm in Starbucks coffee shop, I saw this guy sitting on the far left corner with a porcupine on his head. Looking closer, I was surprised because the porcupine is not really a porcupine, but his hair. Poor bloke. I think his barber or hairdresser has a hidden grudge against him; that's why his supposedly cool color treated hair looked like a stuffed animal at the back. Or perhaps, the barbers tried their best to help him look astounding, but he really can't sport that look.
Color treated hair sometimes makes our crown of glory dry, brittle, and unhealthy. Thus, making everyday of the year a bad hair day. I haven't tried dyeing my hair because I'm afraid chemicals might irritate my scalp. But for those who want to have their hair get another hue that isn't its natural color, perhaps you should follow these steps. Choose the color closest to your skin type. If you think you're fair enough, you can pick burgundy, amber, and light brown. But if you have a perfect tan, chestnut brown is the best for you. Have an expert hairdresser fix your hair if you don't trust your brother or yourself. Lastly, choose a shampoo like Oleda that will help in moisturizing your hair so that you won't look like a walking broomstick.

The Beatles set a standard in which a rock band's, even single artists, success in the industry is measured. This British rock band contributed so much to the music industry, and their influence is still felt up to this day. Aside from music, one of their contributions to the world is the hairstyle known as the mop-top.
Every time a comedy gag show, like Saturday Night Live or Mad TV, does a parody of the Beatles, the actors are always wearing a hairpiece that resembles the very familiar hairstyle. The moptop is very similar to the bowl cut, the major difference is that the former is generally longer and instead of resembling a bowl the moptop resembles a mop. During the 60's a lot of young boys sported this hairstyle, largely due to the Beatle's popularity.
This style is a straight cut hair with long, straight bangs and short on the sides and the back. Nowadays, it has been modified. The back and the sides are allowed to grow until shoulder length while maintaining the straight bangs. This style works best for men with naturally straight hair. If you're hair is curly or wavy, the mop-top is not for you. If cut properly, you can just wash and wear your mop-top without having to use a blow dryer. If you want to maintain this style, you have to get regular haircuts to retain its shape.

Who said braids are only for women? This hairstyle also looks good for men with medium length to long hair and is one of the hippest and coolest hairstyles for both women and men. If memory serves me right, it was popularized by the hip-hop culture of the United States. Several African-American RNB superstars and rappers sported this hairstyle. Of course, it's not for everyone. This certain hairdo is mostly seen on young men, especially those of African-American heritage. Everyone's familiar with braiding; it is made by taking three locks of hair and overlaying it one after the other starting from the scalp up to the tip. Cornrows are actually braids that are lying flat on the head and can be patterned into different styles.
There are many types of cornrows and braids, the aesthetic appearance vary depending of the type of hair. Braids and cornrows are popular not only because several celebrities sport them, but because they're easy to maintain as well. Before tying your hair in braids, always make certain that it has been washed properly using conditioner. It is not advisable to put heavy cream on your hair before braiding it because it causes flaky scalp.
As I said, there are various types of cornrows and braids, make sure you choose a hairstyle that is suitable for the hair texture you have. You are not expected to have your hair braided eternally, so after 8 weeks take of your braids. Otherwise, your hair will get damaged.

Baldness is one of the problems plaguing middle-aged men all over the world. Although society and the media portray women as the vain gender, you’d be surprised how men prize their hair so much. Some undergo hair surgery, wear a toupee, or try to hide their bald spot by combing over it to compensate for their hair loss. Others, especially men who are genetically doomed to lose their precious locks, does not fight the inevitable instead lives with the fact and sport a bald head. This is a great way to camouflage your hair loss because if you have no hair left, people won’t notice just how much hair you’re losing.
They say that a guy sporting a bald head is a very confident man. It works for a many famous men. Hollywood stars like Bruce Willis and Vin Diesel look great with no hair, so does singer Moby. So instead of looking silly by wearing a hair piece or taking all sorts of ridiculous measures to hide your hair loss, get your hair shaved! Hey, at least you don’t have to worry about experiencing a bad hair day.

Generally, the shoes and clothes we wear complete our style. Sometimes it is what makes us different from the others. But there is an essential part of our body that has an effect with our style, our crowning glory or the hair. Since it is a part of our body it completes our appearance. However, deciding on what style of hair to take is very complicated, because it can change the appearance of a person either for better or worse. This problem is not only happening to women, but also to men. Every year the hairstyle trend is changing and is really hard to choose one that best suits the shape of the face.
Here are few of the hairstyles that men could take to have a better look and personality. First is the classic cut. This haircut is like the cuts of former US president Bill Clinton and Pierce Brosnan. Next are the short cuts which result to clean and mature appearance but that will depend on what you want to achieve for your look. If you already have a short hair, try to push forward your bangs like George Clooney does. You can also gel upward your bangs or make it appear "spikey". For men who have the medium length of hair, you can just leave it messy just like the hair of the male Hollywood celebrities like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. You could achieve this by intentionally not fixing your hair after bathing. Now you do not need to worry about your look.

Yep, it can be considered as one of men's obvious vanities. A cap or a hat can very well stand for something that should be put essentially on the head or else, in some cases, can even replace the hair itself. Whether under the heat of the sun or merely chilling inside a cool establishment, most of the gents just cannot do without a hat.
Why do men wear caps? Well, caps are worn by guys for so many reasons. For one, caps are needed to protect the head against the heat or cold weather. In this sense, caps function like sunglasses. Another reason is that men would want to complement their outfit for the day. Contrary to popular notion, straight men could also be fashionable like gays on their own initiative. This is where the cap comes in. Caps are worn to impress. Third, men use caps as part of the occasion or their profession. Think about baseball players. Lastly, caps are needed not just to shield the head from harm, but also to keep the hair in place. Men are so intent on keeping their hair groomed just right. They won't let anyone touch their crowning glory or make the wind disturb their well-managed hair that they have worked so hard on first thing after stepping out of the shower. This is clearly one proof that bald men are not the only ones who prefer hats.

Long hair in men maybe in style today not every one can pull off looking good with his long locks. It's really a hit or miss type of style; you either look good with it or you don't. The recommended length for long hair in men should not be longer than shoulder length.
This type of hairstyle is carefree and manageable requiring only the proper combing after a shower. Although there are situations where your long hair can get in your way as it constantly falls in your face. You could remedy this irritating situation by tying your hair neatly at the back.

Hair problems in men are very common. If they reach a certain age, they usually suffer from common health problems such as receding hairline. When this happens to you, there is still a way to still look cool and clean.
The best way to do is to crop your hair. When you do this, it will give you a vision that you do not have a receding hairline. In addition, you will look neater. It also gives other people a chance to really look at your face. If they do this, then they may not even notice your hair issues. As such, you can regain the self-confidence you once had.

They say that women are vain, but in my opinion, men are vainer than the female population. Why? As much as men hate to admit it, males are so obsessed with their hair. Whatever the length or style they currently have, they make sure it is somehow in place and they rarely let anyone else touch it.
Men use gels, mousse, caps, hair bands and other accessories to enhance their look. So, even if they go bald, they still value their hair by purchasing hair growers or toupees. See, men can be very vain.

If you want that Jerry Maguire hairstyle, then you're going for the messy-hair look, but styled on purpose, that is! If you're an avid fan of hair gels, hair paste, hair wax or hair mousse, you can use your stuff and strut it with your mussed-up hair. To get the perfect messy hair look, right after you shower, don't brush your hair, just get your hair paste and softly mess up your hair. Just to give it a relaxed, just-got-out-of-bed look or a girl just messed my hair up look, allow your hair to fall naturally. Don't brush it, mess it up!

The hair is really a person's crowning glory, so, it's best we take good care of it. The haircut is very important in defining our personality, what we want other people to perceive of our image. If we have the rockstar's long, scraggly hair, then we're probably not perceived as the tidiest guy around. It's not going to be a plus with those job interviews. So, if you want the safer, cleaner look, go for the average length hair. It's a classy look, without the hassle.
