He's a little famous. He's extremely huge. He' sort of rich. Yet, he's, uhg, a bit sweaty. Do you know what I'm cooking? Nope, I'm not blabbering about a wrestler here. Wrestlers are huge and oh so sweaty, but they're not equally famous like this guy. I'm talking about Houston Rockets' center, Yao Ming. Born on the twelfth of September, 1980 in China's Shanghai town, Ming with the height of 9 feet, 5 inches is today's tallest NBA player. He signed to play with Rockets last October, 2002 after being selected in the same year's
NBA draft.
This picture of Yao Ming was taken in the Athens Olympics two years ago. Staring at this picture makes him more admirable. Even if he is playing for NBA, Ming's still proud to show the world the culture of
great Chinese people by being the bearer of China's flag. Now, that's what you call patriotic.
This guy proved that he belongs to the A1 players of NBA list after the many acid tests that he encountered in his life. Do I need to elaborate more? Nah, just watch his biopic entitled Year of the Yao. He perhaps looks different from an average American player but he's extraordinary abilities sent him sky high towards a successful
basketball career.
Have you ever heard of a naughty kid whose purpose for living is to cause trouble and make other lives miserable? Believe or not, there's actually a kid like that, and he happened to be so popular that every parent and children in the world likes him. Den
